01What this page is for

MyTierList hosts templates and lists that people upload. The pictures in a template are uploaded by the person who made it; we do not choose them, and we do not claim any rights in them. If you hold the rights to something on this site and it is here without your permission, this page tells you how to have it removed.

We take these requests seriously and act on them quickly. We also take unfounded requests seriously: a notice that misrepresents who you are or what you own can make you liable for the harm it causes.

02How to send a notice

Email contact@mytierlist.net with the subject “Copyright notice”. Write in English if you can; we will do our best with any language. For us to act, the notice needs to include:

  • The exact address (URL) of each template, list or image you are asking us to remove.
  • What the work is that you say is infringed, and how we can see that you hold the rights to it (a link to the original, a registration, or a description of your relationship to the rights holder).
  • Your name, and an email address or other way to reach you.
  • A statement that you believe in good faith that the use is not authorised by the rights holder, their agent, or the law.
  • A statement that the information in the notice is accurate and, under penalty of perjury where that applies, that you are the rights holder or authorised to act for them.
  • Your physical or electronic signature.

03What we do with it

We read every notice. If it identifies the content and shows a reasonable claim, we take the content off every public page of the site — usually within a few days, often sooner — and we tell the person who uploaded it, passing on the notice so that they know why. A template that is taken down stops appearing in listings, search engines’ sitemaps and the consensus; lists that were made on it stay private to their authors.

If a notice is incomplete we will write back and say what is missing. If it is plainly not about copyright, or is sent in bad faith, we will not act on it and will say so.

We keep a record of notices and of what we did with them. Accounts that repeatedly upload infringing content are closed.

04If your content was removed

If you uploaded something that was removed and you believe the removal was a mistake — because you hold the rights, have permission, or the use is allowed by law — you can send a counter-notice to contact@mytierlist.net. Say which content it concerns, why you believe it should be restored, give your name and contact details, and state that you consent to the jurisdiction of the courts where you are located and that you will accept service from the person who sent the original notice.

We forward counter-notices to the person who sent the original notice. Unless they tell us within ten business days that they have started court proceedings, we restore the content.

05Trademarks and other rights

The same address handles notices about trademarks, rights of publicity and privacy. Tell us which right is involved and why the use on this site infringes it; the rest of the process is the same. General questions about the site go to contact@mytierlist.net.
